Job Description
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Frontend Developer to join the Haven engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality, responsive web interfaces that deliver a seamless experience to our users.
You will work closely with our design and backend teams to bring product ideas to life. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of your work, and continuously improving your craft.
This is a fully remote role. We care about output, quality, and communication — not where you sit.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with a solid foundation in modern frontend development who can hit the ground running. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with Vue.js or React
- Familiarity with Laravel and Blade templates
- Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Strong attention to detail and design accuracy
A portfolio of previous work demonstrating your frontend projects is required with your application. Candidates without a portfolio will not be considered.
Responsibilities
As a Frontend Developer at Haven you will play a key role in shaping how our platform looks and feels. You will own the frontend of multiple product areas and collaborate daily with designers and backend developers.
- Build and maintain responsive, accessible web interfaces across the Haven platform
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect designs
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs built in Laravel
- Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and UI bugs
- Stay up to date with frontend trends and propose improvements to the codebase
- Contribute to technical documentation and internal knowledge sharing
You will report directly to the Lead Engineer and work within an agile sprint cycle. You will have significant ownership over your work and the opportunity to grow into a senior role as Haven scales.
